Ponds & Water Features

Ponds, Streams, Waterfalls and Water Features

We Install and Repair all types of Water Features:

• Natural Waterfalls with Streams and Ponds

• Koi Ponds

• Contemporary Custom Concrete Ponds

• Ceramic Urns with perpetual water flowing over the edges

• “PondLess” Water Features

• Concrete Fountain Bowls

• One-of-a-Kind Iron Fountain Bowls (Exclusively Sold by Horizon Landscaping)

• Hand Carved Granite Water Basins

• Wall Fountains

• Granite Boulders cored down the center with water emitting like a natural spring from the top

These are just a few of the types we have installed. Every Water Feature is different. Our Construction Methods that we have mastered may be the same but No two Water Features are alike! We design and Install the Water Element specifically for you and your home.

Our Natural Boulder Waterfalls with Streams and ponds are typically built using a 45 mil EPDM Liner. EPDM is a flexible rubber membrane that lines the bottom of your pond. We use skimmers in all our ponds, submersible pumps and biological filter systems that promote beneficial bacteria to keep your water clear and healthy for fish.

We also build Ponds using Pool Construction Methods, building the Pond Basin out of steel reinforced concrete, using non-submersible pool pumps and in-line pool filters.

We will install small ‘Bathtub’ size ponds but we have also built 10′ high Waterfalls that required us to crane-in large Volkswagen Bug sized Boulders!

Our “Stone-Flower” Fountain that was featured in Sunset Magazine was built using a hidden, in-ground water basin that was cover in Flagstone and inspired by a Chrysanthemum Blossom!

A well constructed water feature in your landscape not only adds value to your home, but transforms your outdoor living space as there is nothing like the soothing sound of flowing water.  Water Elements become the focal point of any garden with their melodious tunes and their natural ability to attract a variety of wildlife including butterflies, birds and dragonflies.
